Made of heavy-duty stainless steel, the Savage Rolling Base is a versatile piece of hardware that, among its many uses, can accept a C-stand riser in one of its two 1 1/8" receivers and be rolled around and secured by its locking 3" casters. To accommodate different stands, the expandable legs can be spread up to 56 degrees, a valuable asset for mounting equipment with an off-center weight such as an overhanging light or microphone. As a further sign of versatility, each leg also has a 5/8" receiver.
