Two Class-AB amplifiers deliver 75W to the 8" woven composite woofer and 65W to the 1.25" silk-dome tweeter, which offers snappy, accurate transient response. The monitor offers a frequency response from 20 kHz down to 35 Hz for a full-range sound without a subwoofer and plenty of volume (105 dB SPL). The rear panel provides acoustic tuning controls including a three-position Acoustic Space switch that helps compensate for the boundary bass boost that can occur when a monitor is placed in a corner or near a wall. High and Mid controls help to further mitigate room anomalies, while a low cutoff filter makes it easy to integrate a subwoofer into your monitor setup.
