Overview

Offering a way to increase the utility of your umbrella while rendering a soft, flattering quality of light, this Elinchrom Translucent Diffuser for the 49" Deep Umbrella slips over the open side of the Deep Umbrella with your flash head in the center of it. With the flash aimed at the back of the umbrella, it creates effects like an indirect softbox. The diffuser can be used with all three types of deep umbrellas. Used with the silver-interior Deep Umbrella results in mildly crisp but soft light with a slightly cool color rendition. The umbrella with a white interior yields softer light with a neutral to warm color quality, while use with the translucent umbrella casts light in all directions like a large light dome.
